Wed May 10th
Our first stop today was Lewis and Clark National Historic Park where the famous adventurers spent the winter of 1805-1806. There is a recreation of the fort they built and a nice exhibit about how they survived with the help of the native americans.

Hwy 101 in Washington was much different than in Oregon, much flatter with lots of marshlands and bays.
We stopped in the Olympic National Forest to camp but none of the campgrounds that are open would accommodate our trailer so we went to a RV campground nearby by Lake Quinault. It is a beautiful campsite but no wifi, no cell service, and no sewer hookup, no TV so it almost like real camping except for the queen size bed, refrigerator, electric lights, running water, bathroom, furnace, microwave, .........
We took a short hike to see the worlds largest spruce tree, the rain forest, wildflowers and a waterfall
