Not much to report today except sunshine and warmer weather! We headed back up the Richardson highway towards Glenallen then headed west towards Anchorage. Once we crossed the Coastal mountains the clouds dissipated and the temps rose into the 60s. We stopped at a couple of pull offs for photos, a glacier and a small museum in Copper Loop.
Our campground hostess at the Mendeltna Creek Lodge provided us with a delicious homemade pizza dinner and our youngest caravan member, Jonathan, played the piano for us. He played very well for an eleven year old. His grandmother also played a couple of tunes for us.
Gas was $3.79 in Glenallen and we completed our 5,000th mile today.
