Not much to report today. Travel day from Seward to Houston, AK. Retraced our route to Anchorage then on to Houston. We did stop to get some pictures of the the Dall sheep that we missing going down to Homer.
Low hanging clouds obscured the mountains most of the trip but only had a brief rain shower. Temps were in the 50s all morning but a little sunshine in the afternoon warmed it up a little.
Tonight we are having a cookout and ice cream and cake to celebrate some birthdays and anniversaries in the group. One couple took this trip to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
Gas prices really dropped the last few days. Price in Anchorage was $3.339 today compared to $3.699 earlier in the week.
Thus far we have driven 6002 miles on this trip.
