Took the truck into Firestone this morning to see about the "check engine light" but they were too busy to get to it so I went to Autozone and they connected their scanner which showed misfire on one cylinder; possible causes sparkplug, coil, or ignition wire. Great, I thought, a simple tune up and we will be on our way. Took the truck to Sears and they told me the same thing and that they could have it done in about 3 hours so we took a walk around Salt Lake City while we waited.

After a few hours we returned to Sears and the manager said, "I was just getting ready to call you." I'm thinking "Oh, boy, it's ready". Then he said, "I have bad news, the truck has a blown head gasket and we can't fix it."
So we waited for them to put the truck back together and headed for the Ford dealer. They tell us it will probably take a couple of days to repair it, so here we sit in Salt Lake City.
Here are some more pictures from previous days that Nancy took.

Oh man, that sucks! Still, there are worse places to be stuck that Salt Lake City.
