Status Update

Just noticed that I have not posted since 2022. Nancy was diagnosed with breast cacncer in 2022 so between surgery, chemo and covid we have not been traveling. Nancy seems to be on the road to recovery thankfully so we have a new rig and can start to think about hitting the road again.

We have progressed from pup tent to popup to travel trailer to class C motorhome.

In November of 2023 we traded in our travel trailer and Shannon's Class A for a 30 ft Forrest River Sunseeker so we will be traveling in style now. Anything longer than 30ft would not fit in our shed.

we have taken a couple of short trips to Arkansas, West Tennessee and Kentucky and love it. The truck chassis is similar to my pickup and is easier to drive than a class A.

Did have a little issue on the last trip to KY with engine problems which turned out to be the result of a rat infestation in the engine. The little pests had chewed through a wire to one of the fuel injectors..

The cab overhang helps keep the cab cooler on sunny days and reduces glare.
