West Coast, Baby!

Today was a travel day.
Klamath Lake
We left Klamath Falls and drove to the west coast of Oregon, ending up in Florence. It was about 30 deg F when we woke up this morning and the furnace would not light so we had to rely on two small electric heaters to warm the camper.  It was a pretty drive with lots of mountains but also lots of trees which prevented many good photo ops. We got to Florence about 3pm, temps in 50's and very windy.
Umpqua River
Tonight we are in the Siuslaw Harbor RV Park and Marina by the Siuslaw River.

We see this plant with yellow flowers everywhere.

Tomorrow we hope to actually see the Pacific ocean and spend the next few days working our way up the coast to Washington state.
We stopped at a Fred Meyer supermarket to get gas and asked if we could use our Kroger card since Kroger is a division of Fred Meyer (or vice versa) and they said yes so we got a $0.20/gal discount which was nice since gas was $2.69/gal for regular. Hope to have more photos (and warmer weather) tomorrow. Stay tuned,
