Oregon Coast

Tonight finds us in Cannon Beach, Oregon. We drove the coast highway, Hwy 101 and what a beautiful drive it was with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, quaint towns, mountains and farms.

Our campground is a few blocks from the beach but has lots of trees and a creek and is very quiet.  We arrived about 2 pm and headed to the beach as soon as we got set up.  Today was clear and sunny but cool and windy with temps in 50s and 60s.  There are lots of interesting rock formations in the water with names like Haystack and Bird Rock. There is also a lighthouse on one rock that has been converted into a columbarium where one can have one's ashes stored😳
