Into the mountains

Today we drove from Goodland, KS to Salt Lake City, UT.  So much for a nice leisurely trip.  The truck had a heat stroke in the 106 deg weather yesterday and started idling rough and the check engine light came on indicating a problem with the emission system.  So instead of sightseeing in Rocky Mountain NP we were driving the interstate, hoping to gain enough time to get the truck fixed Monday and still get to California by Tuesday. At least the mountains and afternoon clouds provided some relief from the heat, temps today ranged from mid 50's to mid 80's.

Yoda stayed up partying last night so he slept most of the day.  He was probably dreaming of Yosemite and redwood forests.
