Homer to Seward

Today we retraced our steps as we headed back up the Kenai Peninsula then headed down to Seward.
But on our way out of Homer we finally got our eagle photo.  This nest is right beside the highway in the middle of Homer.
Also got a good parting shot of mountains near Homer.

We did get to see the volcanoes with more sunlight than before.

The day started out cloudy but gradually cleared and warmed into the 60s.

We stopped for gas in Soldotna and using our Kroger discount at the Fred Meyer store we were able to get gas for $3.59 instead of $3.69.

There are several pretty lakes along the Seward highway.

Seward is a small quaint town similar to Skagway but smaller.

We had a great fish fry and potluck dinner. There was more halibut than we could eat and it was delicious.
