Glacier-less National Park

We spent the day exploring Glacier National Park. (Can you find Yoda in picture below?)
Temps started out in 30s but gradually rose to the 50s but almost no rain!  Climate warming has led to melting of glaciers to the point where they will all be gone in 20 yrs.
We really could not see any of the glaciers due to clouds and road closures. The Going to the Sun Road is still closed 12 miles from entrance on east side.
This morning we took a hike to Baring Falls and St. Mary's Falls.

I think St. Mary's Falls was Yoda's favorite by the look on his face.

On a sad note, the next waterfall on this trail is Virginia Falls but we decided not to go because we were hungry and tired, anyway, we later heard that a lady had fallen into the river there and was presumed drowned.
The sun peeked out occasionally so we got some better shots of the mountains today.

Nancy keeps finding more and more wildflowers to photograph, they are everywhere:

We stopped to take a picture today and when Nancy pushed the button to lower her window the window dropped down inside the door and would not come back up.  There are no repair shops within 30miles and I could not figure out how to remove the door panel so Nancy asked the folks at the KOA office if they knew anyone who could help. One of their workers came and got the panel off and pushed the window up manually. Real nice fellow who would not let me pay him. Apparently the track that holds the window is broken so we just duct taped the window in position until we can get it repaired. Look like real rednecks now!
