Dawson Creek respite

Taking a nice easy day in Dawson Creek.

Moved to Northern Lights RV Campground this morning, bought some groceries, got the oil changed in the truck, got a haircut (the barber was a hoot) and filled up the gas tank. At $4.10/gal it cost me $81 to fill up. This afternoon we registered with the caravan company and met some more of our traveling companions. We have a "Happy Hour" scheduled at 3pm to get to know everyone better.  Much better WiFi here, I was beginning to have computer withdrawals.

Addendum
After Meet and Greet "Happy Hour" Nancy and I went into town to the visitor center which has a small railroad and history museum.

We took our picture at both Mile  0 markers.  One marker is near the original survey stake for the Alaska Hwy and the other is about a block away near the business district to attract business to the stores.
